All of these alien empires share the same galaxy with humanity, but you get to choose next to which alien empire's borders earth is next to
The first option is the
Doctrinal Enforcers
They seek to convert the whole galaxy to their faith, they are willing to use force. Their religion is a mix of Islam Christianity and some Buddhism and all other religions. While they are fanatics they are very unlikely to commit wholesale genocide.

The next empire are the
Watchful Regulators
This empire dedicates itself to the hoarding of technologies that it believes should be kept out the hands of young and irresponsible races. They interact more often with the lesser races through tasks and are among the hardest Fallen Empires to anger. The only thing they fear is artificial intelligence though their fears are not unfounded. They are most willing to trade technologies of all sorts to other races from weapons to FTL to infrastructure, however they force all their clients to ban AI, and only work on planet destroying weapons and above with their supervision. They are unlikely to commit genocide unless a race is working on von neuman swarms or something where the AI can become rapidly dangerous. However races that work on AI's have a mysterious tendency to have their societies catastrophically collapse and regress back to the stone age.

The next empire are
The Reclaimers
They will seek to conquer or vassalize the entire galaxy. This empire offers two choices to those it captures they can be a slave, and are given farming technology and industrial tech and other things for colonization, but their race is forever denied the right to own weapons or fight, or they can become a battle thrall, a subject that cannot colonize worlds like a slave however they are given basic weapons and are allowed to get resouces or territory by paying the iron price for it like the Iron Born in game of thrones. They are the most likely to cause genocides.

The final empire are the
Benevolent Interventionists
They will seek to force all the other empires and races in the universe into becoming a signatory to a galactic peace treaty. Any lesser empire can accept their demand to become a signatory, a subject that is forced to ban slavery and genocide permanently. However, signatories are free to colonize new planets. They are also the most likely to provide humanitarian relief to other races including a whole host of medical knowledge, including the cure to all diseases and possibly more. Unlike other Fallen Empires, the Benevolent Interventionists will come to their defense should any of their subjects be attacked. However while this race will never commit genocide that does not mean that they can't be extremely terrifying and brutal, but any nation that isn't Nazi Germany or the Confederate States of America has nothing to worry about. But they do offer incentives to be good.

So which Space Empire would you prefer found Earth first, and would you support being a client state?
Note All races are far more advanced than us, if you compared us to cavemen it still wouldn't cover how much more advanced they are. Also all races are humanoid.

Yikes not many responses bump. Anyway while the reclaimer suck. The two best options seem to be regulators and interventionists. Is there a reason one would prefer one over the other?

Hmmm regulators being willing to "trade" technology seems like it's either them effectively giving out technology in exchange for agreeing to their rules or useless, since there's not much else a civilization can actually offer precursors. If it's giving out technology then that's really strong and gives you a leg up.

I think in a typical Stellaris-type galaxy regulators are generally better since they don't restrict you from waging wars to expand your species in the galaxy.

Interventionists are slightly better if the galaxy is mostly empty, since there's less incentive to war anyway, and better than regulators if the galaxy is extremely hostile or if you'd be on the backfoot next to other galactic civilizations, because having them guarantee your existence is much more valuable.

Additionally Enforcers become extremely good if you already share their religion.
Problem is,they are neither christian or muslim, but some mix.Nobody on Earth would welcome them.
Maybe except druz, who, according to what i learned, are some christian-muslim mix.

Yes, but the list here is cribbed from the Awakened Fallen Empires in Stellaris, and in Stellaris separate faiths aren't modeled, it's all "has the Spiritualist Ethic."

Spiritualist is one of my favorite ethics in stellaris, lot of neat content IIRC.

Only wish was that it went better with Fanatic Xenophobe & Fanatic Purifiers.

If you say that to muslim,he would still kill them as infidels if they do not become muslims,or at least try to.
And christians, jews and buddhists who still belive would try convert them, but never agree to join their faith.

I mean they aren't actual space Muslims or space Christians. Because why the fuck would they know about some warlord in the Arabian peninsula who claimed to be a prophet. It's more that they have a similar conception of God, an omnipotent creator who made the world and there is only one God as opposed to many.

Logical, but muslims and those of christian who still belive would still want them convert to their version of God.

Interventionists probably are best bet for us. Since they will interfere the least with their clients.

Umm their very name means they will intervene lol.

They all intervene, since they are awakened empires. They just intervene benevolently, though much has been said on why such benevolent intervention can be a bad thing.
