She can have limbs cut off, and be killed by decap
But if Cain doesn't know this ahead of time, she could get screwed. There's also the fact that Cain is in the Bat-family, which minus Red-Hood, hates killing, while Laura would be much more willing to do so. Like, in a straight up no-regen fight, Cain wins, but I don't think that lasts with regeneration. Laura just has to play keep away, as she won't tire.
The problem with putting Cassie against Laura is that her special needs combat precog and bullet timing feats ain't overriding Laura's damage soak for a ten count.

Basically this. Like, Batman would win vs X-23, because he would have figured out all the weaknesses and come prepared. But Cain, despite being a better fighter than Batman would lose because she wouldn't do that unless she was prepared by Oracle or Batman. That's why Batman is Batman, and why Cain can't replace him despite being better at the punchy bits.
Batman would win against Laura because he's got Batarangs that fuck up guys who can punch through skyscrapers as standard equipment and that was before the crisis turned him into a chi master who can ignore nerve gas because "lol monk training in Brazil". Giving him prep time means he'd probably show up with some Wayne tech that nullifies adamantium and temporarily depowers her abilities.
I really don't think he'd even need prep...Under Morrison's run in the 90's the son of a bitch had batarangs that screwed up gravity as part of his standard gear.
Bruce is kinda like what would happen if Doctor Doom got bored one night and decided to run around Hell's Kitchen for a few hours while he waited for a UN meeting.
Edit-Not that I'm saying Bruce is on Doom's level..just that as far him being a street guy, he may as well be.

The problem is if this is a battle to the death, then X-23 is a close to a no limits fallacy. Decapitation seems unlikely with ropes and zip lines and batarangs.
If it's not to the death, I could totally see this as a very reasonable outcome, or something close to it.
Cassie is faster and daresay more skilled then DareDevil up here (though in nerve strikes who knows) and Wolverine is pretty comparable to X-23 for all intents and purposes.

I was assuming to the death. And Cassie is basically the best unpowered fighter in the DC comics, and if she gets close enough to someone unpowered not specifically prepared to beat her, she wins.
The problem is that a death battle means to the death, which Cain won't do, and Laura basically no-sells most physical damage.
Also, idk if even decapitation kills Laura. She has wolverines mutant power, and that's basically unkillable. On top of that, she has adamantium bones which are unbreakable without special stuff. That means even if we give Cassie a sword, it might not work.

TBH id put Richard Dragon over Cass.
When you take out a couple dozen ninjas with your microwave dinner from your wheel chair and when characters like Lady Shiva and IIRC Prometheus want nothing to do with your ass.

Agreed. Batman just needs to be his typical constantly prepared stuff. I mean, even Adam West Batman had four different types of anti animal spray in his batcopter, and they worked against robot versions of the animals as well.
As for Richard Dragon, maybe? I mean he was better than Shiva, but then Cass also beats Shiva if we ignore the hang up about killing. I don't know if we can establish a transitive between the two.

If you go by Dragons overall feats. The guy is pretty wild, arguably he is the Iron Fist of DCs street level.
