Anyone have any thoughts on the FRT-15 trigger? Worth getting?
Unless they've declined from the ~$400 they were running...they seem kind've an expensive toy that I'd have questions as to the reliability/ease-of-use in general and how much they'd mangle accuracy in use (I cannot imagine that what seems like a bump-trigger type of thing would be very helpful there). But would make a fun range-toy if someone had money to burn on it (and ammo to feed it--which might be the more difficult part these days). I have sneaking suspicion they're playing chicken with the ATF and would expect a Polymer 80 situation sometime in the near future where they get slapped and records of sales get seized from them and/or shippers...

But bravo to the company for making it. It takes a...rare breed.

Here's a kind of cool Finnish AR-18 type rifle we'll likely never get imported:

It's the company's first gun. Fully auto, select fire. Nothing on their site seems to indicate that they have a civilian version. My guess is their aiming for police/military contract. Even though Finland doesn't have an automatic weapons ban in an official sense, it's still not possible for regular shooters get a license for one.

Well, at least the M1911 I bought has got some company.... all be it from an original weapon and not another replica.

The Luger, by the way, is from 1938, the Prussian coin from 1863 and the book 1897.

The book also has a newspaper clipping within it from William McKinley's presidency, apparently left there as a bookmark by a previous owner roughly 100 years ago, given the discoloring on the pages (as can be seen below).

It's never been about the firearms actual criminals have, nor the type of firearm used in the vast majority of crimes.
It's always been about stripping citizens of their legal right to own and operate guns so they're easier to oppress and ship off to a gulag.

Mao, Hitler, and Stalin were all very pro-gun control.

Guess what happened next?
