Or maybe less follow and more, get the same sort of apathy or find the same advantages and don’t feel the need to “rock the boat” in a profoundly stupid and inefficient way

Especially with advancing technologies may one fay result in kids and adults who find the idea of wasting huge amounts of money on schools and colleges to be a terrible idea, when internet modules substitute

But even here in the Philippines, as my time in college shows, there are people who romanticise the primitive provincial life

there are people who really thive in those conditions.

I figured, I just thought I would point out unlike the commies, the Amish actually do things that are useful for others.

They also actually care for one another in their small communities, I think

It’s not exactly Communistic, if they don’t help one another via self-tax rates

Also, I think there are FarLeftists eho sre beginning to harass them or some of the ones like them who are economically Conservatives, are religious and do farming. They suddenly came in amongst their turkeys and wouldn’t leave till they could take some away, because animal abuse....I think they could have gotten bird flue

What was communism's relation to farmers by Karl Marx?

Morales was tuted as an example of a good socialist, by European leftists, after Venezuela became too toxic for them to support publicly. They gladly overlooked his record of opressing the native tribes to clear the way for Chinese corporations.

This is the first I've heard of Morales. Do you have any links handy of them praising him? I don't doubt you, but it would be good to have something to point to.

He appeared on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart back when it was Jon Stewart hosting it. It was a very aggrandizing interview and Evo was basking in the praise as he worked off of Jons critiques of woeful America's political system IIRC.

why is it that socialist governments always seem to need to be removed with force?

Because people keep giving them loads of power because they look to be somehow standing up for the little guy against a “Far Right” boogeyman

Eventually you could get a Civil War because there are too many romanticists still around

What made Morales different was that he usually knew when to back off, so he appeared to be 'reasonable' by those looking for a socialist to venerate. Thing is, he isn't that different from Chávez and his ilk. If he wasn't, he wouldn't have insisted in getting reelected after pushing a referendum to 'allow' him to run again, and that referendum giving him a 'no' result.

We now have confirmation that Morales has fled to Mexico.

Evo Morales has accepted an offer of political asylum in Mexico a day after resigning as president of Bolivia amid election fraud protests.

In a tweet, he said it hurt to be leaving Bolivia but he would return with more "strength and energy".

Mexico's Foreign Minister, Marcelo Ebrard, confirmed Mr Morales had boarded a Mexican government plane.

Meanwhile, Bolivia's military commander ordered troops to back up police who have clashed with Morales supporters.
