LOL. I know it looks bad. But to be fair, judges are not expected to memorize the constitution. They just have to be able to read and interpret it faithfully. It's much better to ask them hypothetical questions on cases they would do. I myself am not sure what article 5 of the constitution says. But 2 if I'm not mistaken that deals with the executive's powers right?

Article V deals with amendments and constitutional conventions. Pretty sure. I know this without having spent 21 years working for the government.

Why is working for the government relevant? It's not like they have them recite the thing at the start of each work day, and there's not many people even working for the government who are going to be dealing with constitutional issues with any kind of regularity.

Working for the judiciary it's relevant, because someone who is expected to make a career as a Federal Judge would be expected to have basic familiarity with the foundational laws of our nation.

I wouldn't expect her to be able to quote it verbatim, though that would be a plus, I would expect her to be able to say 'Article Five is about making amendments, Article Two enumerates the powers of the Executive.'

If you had just taken twenty minutes to read over the Constitution before going to your confirmation as a Federal Judge, you would at least be able to say that much. Instead, she made it clear that she just doesn't consider the Constitution to be important enough to have basic familiarity with, proving herself not competent for the job.

Some State of Union Stuff:

Watch: Mitt Romney Stands and Claps with Democrats During Biden's SOTU Dumpster Fire (VIDEO)

Mitt Romney stood and clapped like a seal with Democrats during Joe Biden's State of the Union Address.

This guy is the worst.

Mittens is at it again.

On a much more alarming note:

Biden Announces New FBI Headquarters TWICE the Size of the PENTAGON

If I had a private army that whatever I told them to do even though it required them to violate a sacred oath they took, I'd take very good care of them too. Also, socialism has always needed a huge Big Brother observation and enforcement network. For liberals to push the USA into socialism, that means a much larger IRS and FBI is needed to take from those who work in order to give money to those who do not work.

Afternoon folks. Anyone watched the State of The Union speech last night? I saw highlights of the speech earlier this morning and the Republican Party response from Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R).

I for one am glad that biden will veto anything that raises the costs of Frisizhjlnjubs.

Frisizhjlnjubs are already expensive enough dang it.

I am wondering how he will achieve this though. Maybe with true inanazlprzrue.

They’ll find a way. Or the Republicans will do what they always do 8 out of 10 times and let the Democrats have their way in the name of ‘taking the high road’ or some back door dealing where they give a mile for an inch.
Republicans have opportunities to flip Senate seats in 2024 by targeting the following:
*Montana
*Ohio
*West Virginia
*Nevada
*Arizona
*Michigan (Open): If they can find a Youngkin-type Republican to run for the seat.
*Wisconsin: Will Gallagher be pressured to run against Baldwin?

Interesting. I need to learn more about her.

From what I gathered on Wikipedia.
She wasn't the biggest Trump fan but has been stout on multiple republican beliefs.
Staunch pro life, and made one of the bills for South Carolina.
Heavy against Immigration, being the daughter of Indian immigrants.
She is a little more open on transgender things sadly.

During her time as the UN ambassador she was VERY critical of our adversaries.

In conclusion she could be establishment but we have to wait and see.
She has some things that the establishment want and some things they wouldn't. But she has been in politics awhile

Eh, Haley's ok, but she is one of those who believed the lies about Trump and Charlottesville, as well as is a supporter of Mike Pence, and still blames Trump more than Pelosi for Jan 6th.

Policy-wise she's likely to be more center of the road than many on the Right want, but that might actually help her elect-ability.

There was a time I would have been all in for supporting her run; now, she just feels like a female Lindsey Graham.

Yup, this is where I am on Haley.

Captured: Nikki Haley is One of Klaus Schwab's 'Young Global Leaders'

GOP'er Nikki Haley ranks among those politicians "captured" by Klaus Schwab and his World Economic Forum, with Haley's ties to Schwab dating back to early on in her political career, when she was one of his carefully-procured "Young Global Leaders."

Nikki Haley, the former Governor of South Carolina, US Ambassador to the United Nations, and longtime Klaus Schwab associate, is reportedly mulling a 2024 run for President, a move that would pit her against President Trump in the GOP primary. Despite minuscule support from actual voters, Haley has the apparent backing of parts of the donor class and their associated media outlets, like Fox News, where her potential candidacy has become a much-talked-about subject.

Build Back Better: WEF Will Forcibly 'Transition' the World into Klaus Schwab's Image

Coinciding with Nikki Haley's rise to national prominence as a darling of the GOP establishment is her relationship with Klaus Schwab and his globalist World Economic Forum, which openly works to "capture" various seats in governments around the world.

In 2011, the same year that she took office as Governor of South Carolina, Nikki Haley was selected as one of Klaus Schwab's carefully-procured "Young Global Leaders," a sub-set of the World Economic Forum with a focus on influencing geopolitics ad global commerce through young politicians, sports stars, business leaders, and even younger members of the Rothschild Family.

Though it hasn't been reported much in the United States, Nikki Haley's appointment as one of Klaus Schwab's "Young Global Leaders" was celebrated in the Indian press, the country from which her parents immigrated to America.

A 2011 article from the Indian website Rediff celebrated Haley and 13 others of Indian citizenship or descent, proclaiming that "12 Indians and 2 Indian Americans have been named as Young Global Leaders (YGLs) for 2011 by the World Economic Forum."

On the website, Haley is listed by her Indian name.

"Nimrata Nikki Randhawa Haley is the Governor of South Carolina. She is a member of the Republican Party," the Rediff article states. "She is one of the two Indian Americans to be included in the Young Global Leaders list by the WEF."

After completing her training as one of Klaus Schwab's "Young Global Leaders," Nikki Haley went on to become one of the highest-profile Republican Governors in the country, garnering left-wing approval when she ordered the Confederate battle flag outside of South Carolina's State House to be torn down, igniting a sequence of events that has led to Civil War memorials and other monuments to American and Western history being torn down all over the country and the Western World.

As a WEF associate though, Nikki Haley is far from alone within the GOP.

As previously reported by National File, Dan Crenshaw is a fellow graduate of the "Young Global Leaders" program, while Elise Stefanik is listed as a WEF member on the group's website.

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin, another donor-class darling for 2024 who's also supported monument destruction, appeared at the WEF's Davos summit, alongside Chinese Communists, in the year immediately preceding his run for Governor. While there, he touted his adoption of "woke capital" ESG programs at the Carlyle Group.

Davos: WEF Congratulates Brian Kemp on Failing to Secure Georgia's Elections

This year, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp made a Davos appearance of his own, where he was lauded by one of Klaus Schwab's top men for his refusal to "give in" to the election integrity movement and for his failure to secure Georgia's elections.

So about that…

Just in case you were wondering about inflation levels...

Bidenflation!!!!

Key take away: TIPP CPI is total inflation from when Biden took office
View attachment 1587
Someone made up their own inflation metric specifically to dunk on Biden? Did they apply their method retroactively to historical periods? If I have no real way to relate their numbers to past numbers it seems kinda pointless. It's not like the standard metrics show nothing to be concerned about.
