eh. I mean here he is clearly saying "we gotta bring it back" is referring to the "peaceful coexistence between opposing political views" where, for example, a civil rights pusher and a segregationist would fight on the congress floor but then go have lunch together like good friends. Obviously he was not saying bring back segregation.
The actual issues with his statements are:
1. whose fault exactly that we are so at each others throats right now?
2. he is
saying that we need to be more friendly towards the opposite view, yet at the same time creating the ministry of truth to hunt down his opposition. So his acts and words do not match up.
3. republicucks and demonrats are still very much buddy buddy. Their showmanship of fighting in congress does not change how they go party together afterwards at having screwed the people for another day.
