I’m finally done with my Argo 2 model. Here’s the showcase.

May want to edit the title, it says "Trimere" instead of "Trireme." Looking good though.

Personally, I would be inclined to swap out those modern cargo containers and barrels for more traditional Greek storage items, sacks of grain, amphorae of wine, wooden barrels instead of steel, etc. The cafeteria also might work better with a Grecian-style dining setup instead of what looks like a school cafeteria.

Overall I'm impressed how far this has come.

... Oh my god. I always thought it was Trimere. *Facepalm*

That does sound good. Maybe make them into metal though. Cause I still want it to look like something from the future.

Lol, that's because it is based on my school cafeteria. The purple texture is legit from a picture of my school cafeteria tables.

Overall I'm impressed how far this has come.

Thank you! If I ever revisit this project I'll remember your advice.

Rigging Model attempt 2

Welp here’s my second attempt at rigging.

I edited the model a bit with some objects to act as joints. The rigging is somewhat the same as before so here’s a time stamp to skip.

10:34

As you can see I tried to paint weights this time so the body doesn’t move but the joints do. But it didn’t work for some reason. My teacher thinks it’s a problem with the binding so I’ll try to fix it and make a part 2 when I get home.

I have finished.

You know? When I first started rigging, I thought wow, this is hard, then I learned how to place and connect joints and I thought this was easy! Why is it so hard? Then I bind skin and realize why it's so hard when body parts start flying all over the place.

Painting Weights was a bitch cause the PC would glitch out and not work. Which is why I'm clicking off, saving my work and restarting Maya.

Also I made the Model do a karate horse stance at the end

Also reposted my vids on a new channel.
