Speculation: Will President Biden run for full 4-year term in 2016?
*November 28th, 2014: President Biden hasn't addressed on whether he'll be seeking a full 4-year term in 2016. The White House has declined to answer questions about the President's political future or campaign plans, saying "The President is focused on leading the country and working hard 24/7."

Sources suggest Biden hasn't filed for any political action committee as of yet. However, political analysts said that some Democrats aren't sitting around waiting their turn as former US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton's campaign network is gaining momentum across the country; Clinton held a private fundraiser in Buffalo before the Thanksgiving holiday break with NY St Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) & Democratic members of the NY St congressional delegation. Clinton will be holding another pair of campaign fundraisers in IL, NC, VA, IA, etc.,

Outgoing MD Governor Martin O'Malley (D), whose term ends on January 21st, 2015, has been rumored to running for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016 along with United States Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), whom some unnamed Democrats strongly blasted as "Crazy nutjob, who'll set the Democratic Party back decades and generations."

REPUBLICANS STRATEGY: OBSTRUCT, BLOCK BIDEN AGENDA
*November 30th, 2014: Incoming US Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) addressing the Heritage Foundation in Washington, DC., declared his focus will be blocking the Biden administration's agenda non-stop, block executive & judicial nominees including obstructing everything that the Biden White House proposes.

This foreshadows what ugly partisanship will be awaiting the Biden administration going forward.

During a statewide tour across the Lone Star State, incoming TX Governor Greg Abbott (R) openly declared he'll be filing lawsuits against the Biden administration aggressively & also announced the State of Texas will not be subject to intimidation or political blackmail from the Federal government. Abbott also blasted the Biden administration's calls of police reform calling it "a blatant attack on law enforcement. Texans will always staunchly back our law enforcement all the way!"

Some have viewed Abbott as a potential 2020 contender for the White House on the assumption that President Biden seeks & wins a full 4-year term in 2016.

LA Governor Bobby Jindal (R), MS Governor Phil Bryant (R), AL Governor Bob Bentley (R), GA Governor Nathan Deal (R), FL Governor Richard Scott (R), SC Governor Nikki Haley (R), TN Governor Bill Haslam (R), NM Governor Susana Martinez (R), ME Governor Paul LePage (R), IN Governor Mike Pence (R), MI Governor Rick Snyder (R), WI Governor Scott Walker (R) have launched similar lawsuits against the Biden administration.

*Sunday, November 30th, 2014: During the lame duck session of the US Congress, the Republican-controlled US House of Representatives & Democratic-controlled United States Senate voted in a rare bipartisan overwhelming margin respectively passing Senate Joint Resolution 158, which authorized the Presidential appointed Roberts Commission to report on their investigation into the assassination of then-US President Barack Obama, mandating the attendance and testimony of witnesses including the production of evidence.

Sources confirmed that the Roberts Commission will announce their official findings on October 26th, 2015.

When asked about the long-dragged out investigations, President Biden said "We need to let the Roberts Commission continued doing their work and investigating the findings including the facts on the assassination of President Obama. I am confident that once the report is issued, the American people and the entire world will be given the truth and the whole truth on who's responsible."

BREAKING NEWS: FORMER UNITED STATES SENATOR MARIO CUOMO (D-NY ST) DEAD AT THE AGE OF 82
5e7cc8fe671de00e435b7ecb
*Thursday, January 1st, 2015: Breaking News Alerts are coming in from the Empire State as the New York Times, Associated Press & CNN confirmed that former United States Senator Mario Cuomo (D-NY St) passed away from heart failure at his home in Manhattan at 5:15 PM EST surrounded by his family. He was 82 years old.

The former United States Senator been in failing health in recent years. Less than two months ago, Cuomo had been hospitalized for a hearth condition, but was described in good spirits. Earlier this morning, NY St Governor Andrew Cuomo (D), the eldest son of the former United States Senator, was inaugurated for a second term in New York City. Cuomo wasn't well enough to attend his eldest son's inaugural ceremony, though his son remarked during the inauguration, "He is in the heart and mind of every person who is here. He is here and his inspiration and his legacy and his experience is what has brought the state to this point."

According to the New York Daily News, they reported at the time of the elder Cuomo's passing, his son was delivering his inaugural address in Buffalo.

Cuomo served as NY St Secretary of State under then-NY St Governor Hugh Carey (D) from 1975 to 1978; he won statewide office as NY St Lieutenant Governor in 1978 serving until June 1979, when he ascended to the Governorship following the resignation of Governor Carey, who stepped down to serve as US Ambassador to Greece. Cuomo served as NY St's 52nd Governor from June 19th, 1979 to December 31st, 1982 where he wrestled with an economic recession, presided over a massive expansion of the state prison system. An unwavering liberal, Cuomo bucked the political winds by wielding his veto pen year after year in blocking restoration of the death penalty in the Empire State. He ran for election to a full 4-year term in 1982 but lost to former US First Lady Happy Rockefeller (R). It was assumed Cuomo's political career was over, but tragedy struck in the Fall of 1983, when a bombing attack killed then-United States Senator Al D'Amato (R-NY St). In July 1984, Cuomo gained national acclaim when he delivered the keynote address of the Democratic National Convention in San Francisco that year, where many considered it a barnburner which amounted to a strong rebuttal of then-President Ronald Reagan's vision of American being a "Shining City on a Hill". In the speech that gained national attention, Cuomo said "This nation is more a 'Tale of Two Cities'. Less than two months afterwards, Cuomo delivered a second spellbinder address at Notre Dame University in South Bend, IN: discussing abortion, religion & politics. These two publicized speeches, both of which were ranked among the top speeches of the 20th Century.

Cuomo handily won a special election in November 1984 to filling out the term of the late Senator D'Amato & was overwhelmingly reelected in 1986 & again in 1992 before choosing not to seek reelection to a third full 6-year term in 1998, leaving the United States Senate after 14 years in office.

April 28th, 2014: US President Barack Obama with Philippine President Benigno Simeon Cojuangco Aquino, III at Malacanang Palace before chaos struck....
2014 was supposed to be a pivotal year with intrigue & promise. However, certain events took a dramatic, disturbing turn throughout the world.

It began in the midly hot afternoon hours of April 28th, 2014: Then-US President Barack Obama was in the midst of his Asian Pacific Tour when during the Welcoming Honors festivities on the grounds of Malacanang Palace, 57 shots rang out resulting in multiple injuries that eventually led to Obama's assassination. Thus, this resulted in the ascension of Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., as the 48th President of the United States.

The United States as well as the world was stunned, shocked & horrified by the Obama assassination, nobody knew how, why, who would want to kill the 47th President. Rumors circulated around typical cast of enemy countries such as North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, Russia, People's Republic of China, etc.,

As of now, the Roberts Commission investigating the April 28th Incident in Manila is currently interviewing eyewitnesses, meeting with American & Philippine government officials including many others. The entertainment industry was rocked by the April 28th Incident causing several action-thriller movies & television miniseries to be shelved out of backlash & controversy.

On Foreign Policy: The United States, Republic of Korea including other Western allied nations participated in a secret military operation by launching airstrikes at North Korea that resulted in the death of North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un; his sister, Kim Yo-jong ascended to become leader of the isolated communist country.

During the Summer of 2014: Russian President Vladimir Putin followed through on his threats by ordering a military invasion into Eastern Ukraine, annexing Crimea into the Russian Federation.

The Biden administration grappled with other foreign policy challenges: ISIS wreaking havoc on the Middle East; backlash over President Biden pursuing controversial DETENTE Policy with Cuba; South China Sea Crisis as the PRC was aggressively stealing territories of several neighboring countries such as Japan, Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, etc.,

On Immigration: Conservatives on Capitol Hill blasted President Biden's push in allowing Dreamers & their families to stay in the United States. The Dreamers Act pushed by United States Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) had originally passed the United States Senate, but had been blocked in the Republican-controlled US House of Representatives.

The migrant crisis had escalated as well which forced Border State Governors Rick Perry (R-TX), Susanna Martinez (D-NM), Jan Brewer (R-A-Z) as well as Bobby Jindal (R-LA), Phil Bryant (R-MS), Bob Bentley (R-AL), Nathan Deal (R-GA), Richard Scott (R-FL), Nikki Haley (R-SC), Bill Haslam (R-TN), Mary Fallin (R-OK) & Patrick McCrory (R-NC) to crack down on illegal immigration in their respective states by deploying National Guard troops & other law enforcement agencies.

In Sports: The Florida Gators Women's Gymnastics Team won their second consecutive national championship in NCAA Women's College Gymnastics; however, they shared the national championship with Oklahoma Sooners Women's Gymnastics Team.

NBA: The San Antonio Spurs (#GOSPURSGO 😎) got their revenge against the then two-time defending NBA champion Miami Heat by destroying them badly in the 2014 NBA Finals, blowing them out overwhelmingly in Game 5 in San Antonio before a massive packed crowd; this would be the 5th NBA Championship in franchise history of the San Antonio Spurs.

MLB: The San Francisco Giants won their 8th World Series Championship in 7 games defeating the Kansas City Royals.

College Football: Ohio State Buckeyes (14-1) ranked #4 won their 8th national championship in program history. In the inaugural 2014 College Football Playoff, the Buckeyes with a third-string quarterback in Cardale Jones, defeated SEC champion #1 Alabama Crimson Tide (12-2) by a score of 42-34 in the Allstate Sugar Bowl & then easily trounced Pac-12 champion #2 Oregon Ducks (13-2) 42-20 in the College Football Playoff National Championship game at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX on January 12th, 2015. This is the third overall national championship for Urban Meyer as Head Coach (Florida Gators: 2006, 2008 & Ohio State Buckeyes: 2014).

Politics: The 2014 Midterm elections on November 4th, 2014 was an epic disaster for the Democrats: Republicans flipped eight seats to regain control of the United States Senate in Alaska, Iowa, South Dakota, Colorado, Arkansas, West Virginia, Montana & North Carolina. In Louisiana, Republicans gained the US Senate seat in Summer of 2014 due to the resignation of then-United States Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA) after she was easily confirmed to serve as the 51st Vice President of the United States; Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal (R) appointed then-US Rep. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) to Landrieu's US Senate seat & easily won the December 6th Runoff election defeating former US Rep. Charlie Melancon (D-LA).

On the Governorships: Republicans picked up the following: Massachusetts, Maryland, Arkansas, Illinois. Democrats picked up Pennsylvania & Oklahoma. Independents only picked up Alaska.
