Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is trying to claim victory after Amazon announced an advertising office will be set up in Manhattan's Hudson yards. AOC posted a photo smugly sitting while demanding "haters" apologize after she was "proven right" and save NYC "billions".

In reality AOC chased away 25,000 jobs from New York and cost the city billions and the new office being set up has nothing to do with Amazon HQ2 and will only bring, eventually, 1,500 jobs to the city.

Nah, I think she's smart enough she realized that whole Amazon HQ kerfuffle was a bad idea with bad optics, and she's now trying to present this new thing as a big win to offset that.

In other words, she's being a lying politician instead of straight-up an idiot on this.

Here is the thing, we already dislike her, and are inclined to call her out for it, what you need to ask yourself is are the people in her district who vote in the Dem primary able to see it. After all she is from a deep blue district.
