Resolved alert won't go away

The default settings for alerts were to skip marking as read Alerts that were viewed in the pop up or on the page. While those defaults have been changed, people who have already registered will need to change them themselves.

Go here, scroll down to Alerts page and summary settings, uncheck the first two boxes. Your problem should now be resolved.

Hm. I had something disabled on my end and I didn't see the screenshot. My apologies.

Have you tried a hard reload of the page, and have you clicked the 'show all' on the alerts, and thus visited this page?

Yes and yes.

I've also tried a different browser. Now it's stuck with 2 lol

Fixed it by disabling a feature:

I think it wanted me to click the alert before it would remove the notification, but the alert sent from @Spartan303 was not able to be clicked, which caused it to get stuck.

Nope, toggling that feature off seems to resolve the issue
