That was an awesome turn, and it looks like the dice want the Tinker to be a reucuring villian at this rate.

Though I know this is not known in universe but what happens when/if we capture them. All parahumans are driven to use their powers and tinkers seem to be some of the worst affected in this manner. If I remember right from the history in worm parahumans used to mutilate themselfves if they could not use their powers as they kept being driven further into conflict by their shards. This may be fannon I am remebering though.

Anyway no prision is going to give a man/women who could potientally build a nuke out of 2 lemons and a paperclip any kind of technology so Iguess that may lead to an early study of parahuman phsycology?

Oh just had a thought, That Gym Tinker we met seems to be a materials based one. We could see if we could persuade him to work for the government to build a prision that could hold parahumans

I just look forward to the next fight! We've shown how bad ass we are individually now it's time to show we're unstoppable when fighting together!

....We are going to have to dismantle IRA to catch that guy aren’t we?
I wouldn't go that far no doubt they know our assassin and has seen him face to face all we need is a name and we can start tracking him down. From there it's only a matter of time before he's caught.

Whelp, how soon do you think it will be until the army asks if Saber can lead it? :D

As damn girl, a attack like that with not a single loss is damn crazy with modern fire arms.

So is this what Saber's armor looks like right now?

Got to hunt for that mad bomber before he strikes again.

edit: still got plenty of the SoBs mate though to turn over to the tender mercies of MI6 and MI5 so we may her his or her name.

I get the feeling that any base saber goes to will be invited to the enlisted, the sergeants and the officers mess’s when ever they think she is nearby.

Something I think we can all agree on next chance we get we are hunting down the bomber with saber. This guy is has been running around long enough and he needs to be dealt with.

Sorry if this has been answered already, but wouldn't structural analysis have the reveal the name of the bomb maker? As the creator/owner of the object it should be a rather distinct part of its history.

Also would this trigger? Does this only apply to a more recent trail, or was this what was used to try to track down the distributor?
On the Scent(Permanent): With a successful (Perception + Survival) roll, Shirou uses his enhanced senses to pick up on the almost-invisible traces of a foe’s trail. May be contested by a (Wits + Stealth) roll if the target is a Thinker or a Stranger with an applicable ability.

And because the Tinker repurposed the devices rather than building them and because they were intended to be disposable rather than a permanent possession, no, Shirou hasn’t been able to read the identity of the Tinker from his gear. If you could get ahold of or even a good look at his personal invisibility system, that would likely change.

You haven’t come across a fresh enough trail for On The Scent. After people showed up to protect the PM, the Tinker had too big a lead and too many people had stomped all over the scene. Likewise for the bombing.

Hm, at least we know what the spending habits are, so we can look for weird purchases, and probably track weird purchases in london itself.

We have also captured a number of people so the government should be able to get some details from them, and I wonder if Saber's charisma might convince some of them to willingly give extra information. Basically we have a starting point for gettin more information.

More than that, with the cell that was supporting him arrested or dead, he’s just lost his main source of resources. His turnaround times will be much longer.

Will be leading off the next update with rolls for interrogations and such. Also, Saber will be getting a job offer.

Saber getting a job offer already. Wow I mean I know shes good and even stronger while in Britain but I was not expecting the Government/Military to offer her a job this quickly. I wonder if she will accept it though she has said she was tired of ruling and just wanted to be a wandering knight again.

TBH Saber is a natural born commander I won’t say anything about her time as king but she does know how to lead and organise people as well as fight if she is offered some job by HMG then I think we should recommend she accepts but at the end of the day it is up to her

Hard to actually judge how good she is a king as she was practically set up to fail. Unstable nation with multiple people wanting to be king (and looking for any excuse to replace her), regular invasions, a sister who was both a powerful magic user and wanted her dead, and even then, people didn't think she was a poor leader. The biggest issue was she seemed "too perfect" when that was basically what was needed for basic survival. Oh, and Mordred saying to a woman hey I'm your child when she has never been pregnant... would anyone believe that? Even if she did, Arturia would know it is a probably a trap from her sister.

On Saber accepting a job, she has only recently started her sales so that might cause rumours and potentially making it easier to connect Saber to her civilian identity. That said I could easily see her as the eventual head of the PRT/Protectorate equivalent (well I could actually see her as the head of most departments, especially military ones).

I think we will need to actually tell our boss that we are guardian to get some extra freedom, if Saber does end up accepting a job with the government we should be known to them and hence they might help us with a cover.
