    All those US machine tools were a big help and the Germans had to focus on bombers while the Brits could focus on fighters. Still not sure why the Germans didn't bomb the Spitfire factory harder and sooner despite knowing where is was in Southampton.

    That is all you got from that? The US is more dependent on China for the materials to make the economy function than the inverse thanks to China having access to Russia and most of Asia....including via conquest if necessary. Maybe not Taiwan, but South Korea.
