Another song from my Ukrainian friend, this time it was more of a reintroduction, as I remember hearing this song years ago, but didn't know its name. What I didn't know was this was used in the film Scent of a Woman, not the Al Pacino version, the original 1970's Italian version, that I...

Another song I've discovered lately thanks to my Ukrainian friend, it's another that has a bit of a bit of a Bond sound to it in my opinion

I've been talking with a Lady in the Ukraine for the past little while and she's introduced me to some rather...different music. First off is this rather moody piece. The lyrics suggest its about the 1920's era, pretty ironic considering I've been watching Babylon Berlin recently. Then...

A very melancholy and olde worlde style song from 1975 It might just be me, but the picture of the singer, Janis Ian to me looks a bit like a young Barbra Streisand at about that time period.

Can't say I'm keen on what in my view is a rather crappy remix and the girls that look about 100lbs soaking wet jumping around just add to the silliness. I prefer the original with this video.

Not often a fan of redone songs, but Sons of Anarchy has had a few. There is also this old classic. Also from a singer called The White Buffalo who did some songs in Sons of Anarchy this is an original piece outside the series

Apologies for the double post. King Arthur was a mediocre film at best buy had a wonderful soundtrack, primarily by Hans Zimmer. Moya Brennan of Clannad fame and elder sister to Enya did this song.

One of the more emotional songs, I know Abba used to get ridiculed a lot, not so much in recent years though. Although they deny it, the fact that the marriages of the group were breaking up at the time adds to this song.

One of Iron Maidens IMHO best songs, and like many of theirs, based off actual stories.

Another rather decent cover, and the way I'm feeling recently, just suits my mood.
