The original SA80, sadly, is the last product of a company that was getting told it was going out of business...with the unfortunate results. Still, I'd take an improved A2 or A3 version over a crappy one any day.

I probably should have also mentioned the groundwater around Chinese cities that is estimated to be 80 to 90 percent polluted and non-potable. Non-regulated habits of dumping toxic chemicals and feces into streams, rivers and lakes, etc. The amount of pollution in China is so horrific it...

We've heard plenty about Chinese tofu dreg construction, and horrible safety issues. But what about Chinese gutter oil and spittle oil? WARNING: Don't watch if you're about to eat something.

And on what assumes it looks like may be a mountain or ridge. You know, vertical surfaces, dirt that can easily form into rockslides or mudslides without proper support. As you mentioned, it needs actual concrete sub-surfaces that are reinforced with REAL actual steel rebar, not that cheap...

It's claimed that a celebratory "flaming duck" cuisine dish was the cause. Seemed to have been one hell of a big flaming duck to cause that much smoke. Was the 100 megaton duck flapping it's fiery wings and squawking and running up and down the whole ship?? Then again, there's this...

In regards to Three Gorges Dam, if you look at some other dams such as the Hoover Dam they're bow shaped to better handle the immense pressure of the water. The Three Gorges dam is literally built in a straight line, which back in 2019 was already showing signs of warping and deforming...

Prepared defense (preferably with the ability for offense) is like a fire extinguisher. Better to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it. On another note, I've heard some speculating that Xi won't pull the trigger. A friendly reminder that it was predicted a certain other...

Agreed. However, the problem is a sick tiger like China is likely going to lash out, and Xi's made plenty of noise about Taiwan and the Spratley Islands, and elsewhere. China can still do quite a bit of damage. Better to be ready for the real possibility of war, than not. Or as the saying goes...

What the merry fuck, does this occur often when someone tests positive?? I take that back, with the draconian restrictions and penalizing and lockdowns the Chinese are so damn fond of, I'm going to wager yes. Their housing and real estate schemes, among other things. Won't last forever though.

Perhaps, but I think the main concern IMO would be getting as many of those damn nukes secured as possible. If in theory C&C breaks down in a country like China and the nukes become a free-for-all? I don't think that's a Pandora's Box anyone's ready to deal with at the moment.
