So? They're a country in their own right now, and the people of Ukraine deserve the right to self-governance just as much as everyone else does. The ones who actually want it, I mean; as I also thought the people of Crimea deserved the right to decide that they wanted to be part of Russia instead.

Still, nobody can't deny that it ended up working in Russia's favor to at least some degree. A lot of people are now more inclined to believe Russia over the United States and Europe, even in the face of what they've been doing in Ukraine.
