Um sea mines are not fire control linked. And many of them are already on the Seabed near Taiwan.

To add it is easier to build Antiship Missiles and Mines than it is to build ships. And you can saturation strike the entire CCP invasion force with the combined might of the Japanese, Taiwanese and US Navy.

They had a chance to stand up and fight the Talban. Instead they stood down. Now they get what they get.

My best guess is the Afghan Troops that decided to not even fight the Taliban and just laid down their arms are regretting that decision now.

All the arms captured by the Taliban need to be destroyed with air power. B52s, Superhornets, F15s, Cruise Missiles etc. Rain Death on those captured bases.
