Either computing will get so advanced it only needs a really tiny device, or internet speeds increase enough that consoles become thin clients with all the compute happening remotely.

Yeah, the takeaway is never trust the government sources for "science." These are the same people that closed down gyms during covid, even though being physically active was one of the very top ways to ensure its not as bad when you catch it, and was noticed very early on.
