    A surving "Austrian Federation" means events in Germany are different and there is no III Reich. Or no Hitler-headed III Reich as we know it. Not having any USSR is such a scenario is also likely. WWII breaks out when Austria and Germany jointly kick off Round XX of "Wars for European Domination".
