All this talk about crit slots in the mech, didn't @Speaker4thesilent say years ago how he was writing a narrative and not a battle report? Crit slots don't really matter, it's a game mechanic, tonnage and volume matter.

That would be perfect for sale to Defiance for their Atlas line, and out of everyone they have the best defenses and funding to clone tooling and expand production.

Frankly I'd just convert the standard AC-10 plants into LBX-10 plants, both guns and ammo. The benefits of the LBX even without the advanced neuro helmet are so massive that the vanilla 10 is hot garbage next to it. It isn't like the LC is going to run out of plants making regular 10's and...

A heavily updated Commando might work I guess. How current are their electronics? They've probably been kept up to date much better than the Centurion, so probably not much room for upgrade there. Another good choice would be the Javelin, jump jets, 30 tonner, 97kph stock. Swap out the 10 HS...

My kroner is on C* or Kurita with C* Intel. The Jolly Roger affair wasn't that long ago so most likely Kurita + Intel.

An in house light would be a great addition. What candidates do we have besides the Commando? It's a great mech but slightly limited in role to a striker. The C1H seem to really favor their jumpers, so something with some bounce would be ideal.
