I’m going to need way more evidence to believe that Russia is deliberately pumping more gas into the ocean.

Why would they even do that? Why would they blow it up? This is insanity.
Your mistake is treating Putin's Russia as a rational actor, when they quite clearly aren't.

There is no reason to increase the pressure in the pipeline at this point except in order to hinder repairs. If Russia was innocent in this, they would be cutting off the gas flow till repairs can be properly undertaken.

Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.
It boggles my mind that there are so many people in denial that the USA is almost certainly the perpetrator here. It’s as though the mainstream media has so addled people’s brains that they can look at the naked emperor and think that they see clothes.

Biden said that we would do it. Several other top US government people said or hinted at the same thing. The establishment has a huge motive to do this, it keeps Germany from being tempted (by high fuel prices) into relaxing sanctions of Russia. The USA has has a massive naval presence in the Baltic Sea and the means to complete this attack.

It’s as though a husband says that he will kill his wife if she leaves him. All of their mutual friends say that he will kill her. The guy has a long criminal record of numerous violent crimes. The wife leaves him and turns up murdered. Beaten to death with a rare kind of wrench that only an auto mechanic would own and the ex husband is an auto mechanic. Wouldn’t this guy be the #1 suspect? If you said you thought the husband did it and somebody called you an insane conspiracy theorist, wouldn’t you doubt that person’s sanity or honestly?

At some point, you have to be willing to admit that your own country can be the villains, and in the last few decades the USA usually is.
They don't want admit their country to did something bad?

Russia seems to be increasing pressure in some of the pipes...

If Russia was innocent in this matter, they wouldn't be increasing the pressure in the pipeline, which further delays repairs to it.

Oh, I don't know maybe the pressure increase is supposed to prevent eater from filling up the pipes and foulitthem up... :p

It's bad form to take credit for something that someone else might have done out of some stupid scheme.
Also i question how it counts as "something bad" when a whole bunch of US allies hated that pipeline, Germans at least pretended to not care about it anymore, and you have a number of people here arguing that it was in US interest to do it.

What else are they supposed to do with it? It's either that or flares, dunno what capacity those have.

Could Russia be doing this to attack Swedish fishing industry in the area? Allowing more gas to leak out as well as prevent repair or even inspection of the sites?

With this administration I can believe the depths they go to carry it out. No pretense of integrity at all.

This "something bad" is up to the person's view. If it's deemed a good thing to ensure Germany stays the course despite a change in government to turn back on the cheap gas then it's a good thing.

It might be the US. I can believe the Biden Admin is stupid enough to do this.

However, assuming it is the US before clear evidence emerges, rather than one of any number of other actors who might have done it, that's just showing your bias.

Well, is Germany backstabbing half of its NATO and EU allies in favor of very shady economic connections with Russia a good thing? If it's a bad thing, then sabotaging it is a good thing.

Just don't tell them that when they're freezing their asses in winter as they're forced to pay twice the price of Russian gas.
