Dead serious indeed.

Because anyone who tries it will be shot dead. Their leadership knows that. They also know that it doesn't matter which city they burn to the ground; the point is to get attention and to intimidate through media. More proof that antifa is a terrorist organization.

You act like I don't have autistic and physically disabled people in my immediate family.. And when my mother was dying from cancer I was one of her care givers. So spare me your line of thinking. Been there and done that.
Right back at you; except in my case, it was my grandfather, and I was the only one there for about a week.

Of course not, we should allow for medical exemptions. Sometimes you have to make compromises, if the alternative is worse.

It probably wouldn't, so I should try to be more chartable and not hold people's opinions against them. And maybe try to remember that nuance can be lost in these exchanges.
Fair enough; at least we can agree on that.

I am not at all being disingenuous, the same logic applies in their case. A daughter won't take be able to take care of them when they are old, nor carry on their family name. A son can. To them a daughter is "broken" in that sense.

It certainly sounded like it to me. Again, it may just be a limitation of how we are communicating, but since I have every reason to trust you- I am sorry for misattributing this to you.
Thank you; I really do want to stress that I'm only arguing for allowing parents the option in cases where the child shows obvious signs of malformities (in the medical sense; not according to their personal preferences) in the womb. Which ironically would mostly disqualify those born with autism; because as far as I'm aware, they can't detect that in the womb yet except in rare cases.

I can understand that, but there are options. Depending on the policies of your state, there should be job programs that could help you. Or there should be. I honestly wish I could give you real advice, because your situation objectively sucks.

But, yes, I can sympathize. Having difficulty with that myself.
I'm just sick of people trying to call me out for blaming my disability for my failure to make something of myself, as if doing so is retroactively the reason why I failed.

If that were the case, then opposing the death penalty would mean that you are volunteering to support criminals. Not wanting to kill something, doesn't imply any other duty to them. Though, honestly, I'd say we should care for them collectively. Well, collectively in the sense of society caring for its less fortunate members.
If you're going to argue against aborting the disabled, it's the least we as a society can do. My parents certainly could have used the help with me and my brother.

At this rate I’m starting to question if the USA will remain in one piece long enough for the Dems to undoubtedly try and pull some sort of BS come November…

I guess we know who the Pentagon is batting for.

Let them scream and stamp their feet. It's a small portion of the female population within the military and it won't change the overall momentum. In fact, I dare say this will have the opposite effect. The Federal government has for too long held too much power. I expect that we are in a state of de-centralization within the American system.

This is wrong, but don't get too angry. This is a small number of people in the grand scheme of things. Funny, I wonder how the Pentagon would feel if States were to suddenly declare that they will no longer honor drafting laws? I think the Union will hold. Let's at least wait to see what happens this November.

That's a "Holy Shit" moment.

This is how guys like Pinochet started...at first refusing to honor certain laws imposed by civilian government and then eventually deciding the civilian Government had no legitimacy at all and was hopelessly compromised by foreign interests.

In the case of Pinochet, he was right..but that fat gay boy Mili and Admiral "groomer' Levine aren't Pinochet...This is very precarious.

Not gonna blackpill, but this needs to be condemned immediately.

Granted the DOJ's... "insights" were a lot more alarming.

They could mitigate this real quick by having Lloyd Austin and the joint chiefs resign. Basically.

"oops we had a titty attack, swept up in social media hysteria, our bad...we're gonna resign now. As that was fundamentally un American."

I mean, technically the Military bases don't follow local law they follow federal law.
So if the feds say Abortion still legal, then it is on the bases.

The point isn't that...it's them weighing in on a topical issue and doing so in a way that says the most powerful organ of policy implementation and enforcement ever conceived of in the history of our species...Will cheer on and champion total dissent and refusal to adhere to the law.

They're basically saying "Fuck SCOTUS" and them saying that is an egregious breach of their duties. Enough to make me question the patriotism and loyalty of anyone within the Pentagon who endorsed that shit.

There needs to be a second House unamerican activities panel at this point.

So what happens if, say, state/local police or state military forces (let's say the Texas State Guard or that newfangled Florida State Guard DeSantis recently reactivated for the purposes of this hypothetical scenario) move in to shut down a military hospital for attempting a late-term abortion on their soil, after they've passed & activated laws banning or severely curtailing abortion (while there exists no federal law on abortion because the Democrats refused to consider the sort of compromise Manchin and Collins could stomach) as SCOTUS has just recognized is their rightful prerogative? Would that qualify as a latter-day Fort Sumter?

Well, I guess if you absolutely have to have a Second American Civil War, having it pop off because of baby murder is a better reason than most.
