United States George Floyd Protests, Reactions and Riots

Eh, nothing personally, I tended to use my fists, but even then it could get quite violent when temper ran hots.
I did know a guy in my school who burned down the school security(?) room with a molotov, and eventually went on to stab someone over an insult, this kind of reminded me of that.
It’s starting to fade a bit from memory, but I still remember the massive ego and sense of invincibility that came with being a teenagers.
Honestly, at least half my school should have had problem with justice at least once for some of the stuff that was pulled.

Black business owners at George Floyd Square pleading for help as crime spikes and revenue plummets

Black-owned businesses surrounding the area where George Floyd was killed in Minneapolis last year say they are in desperate need of help from police.

Black merchants operating on the corner of 38th Street and Chicago Avenue, known as George Floyd Square, are struggling to stay open due to rampant crime and say police have blocked off the intersection, creating a dangerous autonomous zone, according to the New York Post.

“The city left me in danger,” the owner of Smoke in the Pit said Thursday, two days after Derek Chauvin was convicted of murder for Floyd’s death. “They locked us up on here and left us behind.”

Several stores on the block are boarded up, and the New York Post reported that many owners and workers were afraid to comment about the dire situation due to fear of reprisal.

“Look around. Things are empty,” said Richard Roberts, who works at a nearby church. “What can we do about it?”
Left-wing militants have reportedly been patrolling the autonomous zone around the Floyd memorial, and business owners say crime has spiraled out of control as a result.

A GoFundMe page has been created to help the owners mitigate losing 75% of their revenue since the memorial was established.

“Following the killing of George Perry Floyd Jr. and the reduction of the Minneapolis Police Department, there has been uncontrollable crime in this city,” the page stated. “Carjackings have nearly tripled and cars and catalytic converters are being stolen at high rates. Reports of bullets whizzing through the streets, businesses, innocent unintended residence homes, into cars and walls are plentiful. There is constant gunfire day and night, through all seasons despite the belief that winter would slow crime and gunfire it has not! In fact these Black businesses have suffered a similar fate having windows shot out from random gunfire, cars stolen, customers not patronizing businesses due to fear of violence in the neighborhood and throughout the city.”

The page also stated that the black-owned businesses have become a “sacrificial lamb” of the Black Lives Matter movement and that “in the fight for justice we must not forget the fight of economic justice of once thriving community.”

Police have said they are planning to send more support to the area but so far have not, according to the business owners.

I cannot say I'm too surprised by this....

BLM insurrection inside Oklahoma state capitol…

BLM storms Oklahoma Capitol over GOP bills protecting drivers fleeing riots, police from ‘doxxing’

Demonstrators chanting “Black Lives Matter” stormed the Oklahoma Capitol on Wednesday, forcing the state House of Representatives into lockdown, in order to protest several Republican-backed bills, including one that provides legal protections to motorists fleeing riots.

More than two dozen protesters filled the gallery on the fifth floor while the Oklahoma House in the chamber below was in session. Video showed demonstrators chanting, “Stand united against all hate,” and “We will use our voices to stand against corruption, to fight hate, to defend Black and Brown lives.”

The demonstration was organized against what activists describe as anti-protest and anti-transgender bills advancing through the GOP-controlled state Senate and House. One bill increases penalties for protesters blocking traffic and protects drivers who unintentionally strike drivers with their cars. Another aims to protect law enforcement and their families from “doxxing.”

Oklahoma Governor signs Antifa law protecting drivers who hit protesters…

“We are sending a message today in Oklahoma that rioters who threaten law abiding citizens’ safety will not be tolerated,” Governor Stitt said upon signing the bill. “I remain unequivocally committed to protecting every Oklahoman’s First Amendment right to peacefully protest as well as their right to feel safe in their community.”

The state Senate last week passed the bill in a 38-10 vote, according to ABC-TV affiliate KAKE. The law also makes it a misdemeanor for blocking a public street during protests.

Violators face a maximum one year in prison and a $5,000 fine.

I will wait for their persecution like they did with the January 6th protestors. I won't hold my breath though.

The people involved ought to be identified, pursued and charged exactly the same as the 6th capital rioters. They even ought to attract the same federal attention, since it's almost guaranteed crime across state lines is involved to some degree.

That said, any sensible breakdown of effort and manpower will focus more on the crime against the federal government over the state level. Even the capital riots have produced seemingly slow results despite the vast trove of evidence. Even if this were pursued as vigorously it would take longer, and it won't and shouldn't be.

They got the joke, they just didn't find it funny.
And so the best idea was to respond as if it weren't a joke at all? That's pretty dumb, I'm sure you don't think so poorly of them?

That I perfectly legal what they did.
I mean they could be charged with interference for thier chanting but they didn't "Storm" it like Jan 6th.

If they did I would charge them the same

(Did not watch any videos so)

But wouldn't it be white people doing the beating therefore they have to beat themselves up?
blm, antifa, communist, socialist
different name, same shit.
The main part is "get their ass beat black and blue"
whose doing the beating doesn't really matter.

On another note, an Asian would probably get killed outright if they tried to enter the square.
Black on Asian violence is the real problem, not the "white supremacists" that the media tries to cast as the bogeymen.
Just look at LA in the 1990s.
