A month ago, I emailed Senator Richard Blumenthal, Dr. Robert Redfield, and Secretary Alex Azar, begging to know about plans for negative-pressure tents and ventilators to deal with the surges that I knew would inevitably occur when it became a pandemic.

Now, a month later, not only was the National Guard activated in my state on the 22nd, exactly to the day that I predicted, the Army Corps of Engineers is talking about quickly converting hotels in New York into COVID-19 infirmaries with negative-pressure facilities.

I've met enough anti-gov people in my time as a weed trimmer in CO's legal weed industry, and dealt with enough military/LEO's over my life as friends and family, to have a very good idea how these misunderstandings happen.

When you've lived your life in the middle, you get used to having to call out both sides and get ridiculed by both sides.

Also, I just learned from my father that Denver's mayor has issued a 'stay in your home order' this afternoon, which is going to force my personal plans to be accelerated even further. I cannot risk being locked down for an indeterminate period when I need to be with my father, helping him through this. I am not symptomatic, been checking my temp regularly, and I cannot wait any longer to head down.
