I assume ‘big mama Susan’ is a reference to that idiot woman whose running YouTube? (Right into the ground, if you want my opinion)

Pretty sure, if I read @Zachowon right.

No surprise the times we're living in will be a "fascinating" period for future historians, but given the kind of mystifying executive decisions and self-destructive trends that abound in Corporate America today, twenty-first century business history will be a field of study all its own, right alongside that of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

It's a little funny in the sense that someone thought it was funny or equivalent, by itself as a thing its kinda meh. One of things I ask people IRL is where are all the bodies of the dead, where are the heaps of rotting bodies on the streets? Why is everything still crowded as fuck if this is/was such a lethal pandemic. Why is it that the vast majority of deaths were elderly or comorbidities?

Generally in agreement, especially since pandemics that probably were cooked up in Nurgle’s cauldron — like the Black Death and Spanish Flu — needed to kill tens or hundreds of millions to escalate to nearly the levels you describe.

Although, that does make me wonder where the “Stay at home, save lives!” partisans were when the Summer 2020 riots broke out? If anything, those would’ve spread Covid around more aggressively than genuinely peaceful anti-lockdown protests ever did. Obviously, the Left and mainstream media largely ignored that for partisan reasons, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the guy (or gal) behind the meme did the same and moved on with their life afterwards.

Sorry to bombard the thread, but because it's relevant:

I mean... I don't know a whole lot about Charlie Kirk aside from who he is, but somehow, I doubt he said anything remotely close to that.

It's a vape, I think. Real popular with the kiddies in high school for a while. Replaced sneaking away to smoke a blunt or cig with vaping.
Young enough to have had my high-school teachers caution against vaping in class, yeah.

Never got into it, fortunately. But sometimes, I wonder how many of my classmates that appeared perfectly sober and respectable on the outside vaped and did other drugs behind closed doors. Heck, I even saw a dirty tin of tobacco (or something like that) in a bathroom stall at my school once, though I never touched it or came across that kind of thing again.

Yup, the Ds/Left definitely qualifies for ALL of that...except the hatred of Govt. I'm pretty sure they adore the govt.
Honestly, it seems to vacillate depending on who's in charge, what with the Left bashing Bush one moment and heaping praise upon Obama the next — despite Obama taking the warmongering, mass surveillance, and banker bailouts to new levels, most of which they barely acknowledge at best.

Not to mention how opinions vary based on how far left a given Democrat is, what with an Average Joe neoliberal shaking his head at Trump and having lukewarm feelings towards Biden, while the pink-haired college activists with "Bernie 2020!" bumper stickers on their cars despise him as a "secret right-winger" or something to that effect.

Totally agree. Leftists are kind of living proof of "we have always been at war with Oceaniana" being for or against whatever is beneficial at the moment. Not to mention double think.

I remember back in 2016 a guy on a forum I was on was boasting how "we" shouldn't worry about Trump because of how all the intermediate layers of government would walk back anything he tried to do. And when I, being a dick, pointed it this was the"Deep State" and that he agreed with Trump the guy suddenly snapped about how he was talking about something unrelated and had never even heard about this "Deep State" thing.
