I disagree here. The left's hatred of him is of the traditional kind, the same way they hate Reagan and Goldwater. It's not the kind of hatred that leads to raids on retired old men that are out of the game. The hatred of him that exists on the right is more recent, and more visceral. Leader-who-failed, traitor, false prophet—retirement is no safe haven for these when the purges start.
I don't think it's too likely to happen to Bush, but if it does I expect it to be from the right. Hypothetically, sure, he could be caught up in some leftist dystopian situation, but he'd be less of a specific target than just another body on the pile, IMO.
In response to criticism over the sheer stupidity of the MAL raid..the FBI is now demanding Americans cease talking shit about them.
