Kosovo Being Interesting Again

Aren't there Greeks in the south?

Yeah. Setting it up was a dumb idea on so many levels.
Also - looking back at how Kosovo was created - makes NATO stance on Ukraine give off a stench of hypocrisy ...
Well the whole point was to distract the American public from problems at home

Two serbs get pulled over by the police.

"We're looking for two pedofiles."

The two men shrug.

"Fine we'll do it."

A convenient tool of distraction for people like him. He doles those out but not everyone gets them.
thing is it only works because the American people allow it to, so is the conman at fault, or those dumb enough to let themselves get conned.

Kosovo has historically been a part of Serbia and at the time of its detachment much of its population remained ethnically Serbian; to this day, Northern Kosovo is Serb majority. Even ignoring all of that, Kosovo is essentially a mafia state with many ties to international Jihadi movements including ISIS and a gruesome human rights record which includes kidnapping ethnic Serbs to harvest their organs. As far as I am concerned, Kosovo is Serbian and the Serbian Army should be given free reign to reclaim it.

From your second article here:

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - An EU-led inquiry found “compelling indications” that Kosovo Albanian guerrillas extracted body organs from Serb captives during the 1998-99 war and sold them, but the practice was not widespread and there was not enough evidence for a trial, the lead investigator said on Tuesday.

After a three-year investigation, the EU-led task force said there was, however enough evidence to prosecute former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) for war crimes against the ethnic Serb and Roma populations of Kosovo during the conflict.

AFAICT, both sides in the Kosovo War were rather nasty.

Also, interestingly enough, Kosovo is actually relatively pro-LGBTQ+ by Balkan standards:

Though to be fair, Serbia does have an openly lesbian Prime Minister:

Yeah all sides in the war committed atrocity, which is why the US picking a side was wrong.

Do you know how historically Hungarian Vojvodina, the most developed region of Serbia, became Serb majority? It was through Serbs migrating there from Kosovo. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

So, the pre-WWI borders are ideal lol? ;)

BTW, @History Learner, Albanians were a plurality of Kosovo's population since at least 1948:

Likely since at least 1921 as well:

Vojvodina would have been a great place to have a Swiss-style cantonal system in the past, specifically before WWII, had it become independent back then:

Well I mean, what else is there to do in the Balkans?

Drink booze, flirt with pretty girls, play video games, play soccer, I mean for all that we give the balkans shit the countries there do have modern amendities and can be basically decent places to live.
