Cant we just end the failling war on drugs instead of violating peoples consitutional rights? While were at it can we stop undermining peoples families?

I support ending the failing War on Drugs, no doubt about that. But I also fear that the problem with crime won't fully go away afterwards, especially in high-risk areas, such as heavily black neighborhoods. If black people themselves don't want a return to stop-and-frisk, then fine, but if they do, then they should get their wish. Ditto for Hispanics, et cetera.

Stop and Frisk violates the 4th Amendment. And the worst part is it would be completely pointless even if you ignored that because the DAs would just cut people loose anyway.

Did US state constitutions contain provisions similar to the 4th Amendment in 1868 or, better yet, in 1791? I'm asking because this question directly pertains to the question of the incorporation of the 4th Amendment to US states from an originalist perspective.

Oh, and most importantly of all, welfare access and voting rights should be suspended if somebody has not been a resident or hasn't paid taxes.
Romania, IIRC levies a small tax on all its residents, even those that are abroad.
Frankly, if you can't cough up a few percent of the paycheck for the Motherland every month you obviously don't care enough about it to be allowed to vote!

That actually makes sense and this is why as an expatriate Israeli citizen I (and my family) can't vote in Israeli elections.

Bulgaria for example gives anyone who finishes an university here citizenship status, which is kinda absurd, I mean I am ok with doing that for some specific professions if they stick around and don't just use it for a springboard into the EU.

Including history majors?

The solution here is obvious:

Resettle them in more stable Third World countries and also, if necessary, levy discriminatory taxes on them in order to compensate natives, especially but not only poorer and working-class natives, for any increased job competition and whatnot that they might endure as a result of this. This could give a huge number of Third Worlders better homes without having them move to the West en masse.

What I didn't know was that Hindus were portrayed in a bad light in Jean Raspail's Camp of the Saints:

I thought that the West had a more positive opinion of Hindus relative to Muslims and Africans? Or are such opinions only reserved for middle- and upper-class Hindus, not the lower-classes?

Republicans: Joe Biden’s ID Cards for Illegal Aliens Will Spur Welfare Fraud

A plan by President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to provide border crossers and illegal aliens with identification cards before their release into the United States will spur widespread welfare fraud, House Republicans warn.

As Breitbart News reported last month, the Biden administration is considering issuing the IDs to illegal aliens once they arrive at the U.S.-Mexico border. The IDs would be a boon for illegal immigration, transforming the border into a mere checkpoint ahead of their release into American communities.

DHS officials have defended the plan, claiming it will cut costs for the agency even as illegal immigration costs American taxpayers at least $143 billion annually.

In a letter to DHS officials, Republicans on the House Oversight Committee warn that the program could lead to widespread welfare fraud where border crossers and illegal aliens use the IDs to unlawfully access public benefits reserved for struggling Americans.

“… the issuance of ID cards raises the possibility that illegal aliens will use these identification cards to improperly access benefits such as housing, healthcare, and transportation,” the Republicans write:

The Administration is now reportedly planning yet another reckless policy that will further exacerbate this ongoing crisis. [Emphasis added]

The ICE Secure Docket Card program raises several concerns. The program is apparently intended to permit illegal aliens to check in with ICE virtually instead of physically reporting to an ICE office. Committee Republicans have heard from ICE officials that many aliens enrolled in Alternatives to Detention (ATD) programs fail to check in with ICE as required and disappear into our local communities. The ATD program’s failure to ensure illegal immigrants report to ICE is not a reason to issue them identification cards hoping the statistics improve, but instead an indication that more of these illegal border crossers should be detained during the pendency of removal proceedings. [Emphasis added]
Also, we are concerned that identification cards will include QR codes that link to court documents and personally identifiable information related to removal cases. This raises security concerns as well as questions regarding the likelihood that significant taxpayer resources will be diverted from immigration enforcement to uploading documents into and maintaining a secure system. [Emphasis added]
From February 2021 to May 2022, alone, Biden has released over a million border crossers and illegal aliens into the U.S. interior. This is about twice the population of Wyoming and larger than the population of Austin, Texas.

The Biden administration has yet to say how many border crossers and illegal aliens were released into the U.S. interior from June through July.

A feature, not a bug. Among other things. This is back door naturalization.

Have the Democrats seriously discussed increasing high-skill immigration? I know that Biden wants to recruit STEM Russian majors to the US without an employment sponsor, but I mean other than that. This isn't to say that high-skill immigration can't have its own risks, such as increased Wokeness, but it does bring in a lot of productive immigrants.

They don’t want productive immigrants; they want people dependent on government welfare that they can control.

They want both, if I'm reading them correctly. They do want immigrants who'll be capable of funding this welfare state, after all, but also those who simultaneously agree with their Woke agenda.

Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.
