Oh, lovely. They've sent me a mo-ron.
Yes.

Iran would be an asset, if they weren't fucking insane. Argentina will be a Chinese colony, if things go on as they are right now(I think that's why they are pushing - possibly with China's support - to join BRICS). Egypt might be a problem soon, because of their food situation(perhaps this is why they are seeking closer relations with BRICS? Russia, Brazil and India are big food exporters). Time will tell if this is mere one of the 'symbolic gestures' diplomacy is so full of or not.
Iran you might deem insane is also a trade route with neighbours willing to trade with them despite their insanity.

The Halifax is really Lloyds Banking Group after Halifax Bank of Scotland got forcibly merged into Lloyds by Gordon Brown and operations in England have been largely rolled into Lloyds, at least that was the case when I left their employment in 2014 (used to work for the Bank of Scotland, joined before we merged with Halifax Building Society). They want all the "redundant" locations closed. It surprises me not one bit that they'd be this shit, Halifax was never great but under Lloyds customer consideration is like on the back page of their list of priorities. Lloyds never had good customer service unless you had buckets of cash, the old building society customers at Halifax can go stuff it for all they care.

Food issues not a problem at the moment.

That is nice, but who will deal with with sea mines in the coast of Odessa. Will Ukraine really going to demine it themselves or Russian Navy will do it for them or some other third party? Will both parties even honor the deal in the long term as situation in the ground changes by the hour?

Still I agree that Africa really should aim for self-sufficiency when comes to food.

Anything can happen.

That was fast. So soon the ink has yet to dry.
If they are planning to break a deal, why waste time and energy to set it up in the first place?

This stinks like another false flag on the part of the Ukrainians, their support is dwindling, so they have to drun up more.

Or as the article suggested, this was neither a pier facility nor infrastructure required to ship out grain.

Or some of the weapons the Ukrainians are stockpiling blew up due to mishandling.

Old soviet tradition.Made deal, and break it and ask "what would you do now".
In their times,West always surrender.
Their problem is,that West always pretendet that nothing happened till Reagan come and destroyed soviets - and kgbstan are not soviets, but their shadow.

They clearly think, that if they behave like soviets, rest of the world would do as they want.It work with germans and France, but question is - would it work with USA,even lead by deep state?

We would see.

1923 - USA made Japan leave Siberia, soviet promised do not take over. They did so.
1932 - USA exchanged ambassadors, soviet promised do not spy on them. They keep spies entire time.
1945-soviets promised few times free elections in East and Central Europe. They faked it and enslaved as all.
1972 - they promised free South Vietnam,USA widraw.they invaded in 1975.

And many, many more.Kbgstan are prymitive bandits as soviets were - but much, much weaker. If Biden made agreement with them, his handlers are idiots - or,it is farce from the start.

The Soviets and Russians saw Siberia as their territory, and at the time that area was under the control of parts of the white movement and the western intervention/occupation was seen as an invasion. The Japanese were basically opportunist expansionists.

1932 - USA exchanged ambassadors, soviet promised do not spy on them. They keep spies entire time.
We will not spy on your embassy, honest!
Said every unfriendly country ever.

1945-soviets promised few times free elections in East and Central Europe. They faked it and enslaved as all.
Stalin wanted a sphere of influence/buffer, and most of the nonsense discussed prior to the end of WWII was just bullshit, IMHO.
I think in his memoirs Churchill just said he doesn't believe that any of the agreements for a post-War world would stick and the USA helped remilitarize Germany and Japan in short order.

1972 - they promised free South Vietnam,USA widraw.they invaded in 1975.
That was North Vietnam, not the USSR.The soviets had a hell of a lot less control over there than you would think, and like with the case of Siberia the North Vietnamese saw it as national liberation and unification and kicking out the West's colonial puppets.
The North Vietnamese were driven primarily by nationalism and anti-western sentiment and Marxism and other such crap came a distant 4th, or 5th, right after their long-standing animosity with China and the desire to kick out the people who had:
Stolen their land.
Put in a nasty secret police.
Treated them as 2nd class citizens.
Tried to force a foreign religion onto them.
Made them uproot and move.
Bombed them.
Poisoned their land with Agent orange and burned much of their forests with napalm.
Killed their own puppet president in the South and replaced him with a military junta.

Thọ and Henry Kissinger were jointly awarded the 1973 Nobel Peace Prize for their efforts in negotiating the Paris Peace Accords.[44] However, Thọ declined to accept the award, claiming that peace had not yet been established, and that the United States and the South Vietnamese governments were in violation of the Paris Peace Accords:

However, since the signing of the Paris agreement, the United States and the Saigon administration continue in grave violation of a number of key clauses of this agreement. The Saigon administration, aided and encouraged by the United States, continues its acts of war. Peace has not yet really been established in South Vietnam. In these circumstances it is impossible for me to accept the 1973 Nobel Prize for Peace which the committee has bestowed on me. Once the Paris accord on Vietnam is respected, the arms are silenced and a real peace is established in South Vietnam, I will be able to consider accepting this prize. With my thanks to the Nobel Prize Committee please accept, madame, my sincere respects.[45]

I will sort of give you 1 in 4, thanks to as you call him "Sralin".
I assume that means Shitter in Polish as it does in Bulgarian?

It's certainly interesting to see a self-labeled right-winger make excuses for the Soviet Union. :sneaky:
Funny, I would have said the same about a so-called libertarian/American right-winger defending Ukrainian national socialists. :ROFLMAO:
It is called 'reality', sorry I'd your preferred narrative about international relations and stuff like the Vietnam war do not fit with it.
