News to me? Certainly blows the "gentler sex" label out of the water if true. So "nastier" means escalate first?
After a fashion.

With extremely solitary mammal species like the tiny Etruscan Shrew - voracious predators which weigh less than a penny BTW - a face-to-face male-female ecounter often ends with either a dead male or a pregnant female.

that does not matter, if you want the right to vote then you have to fullfill the obligations that go with it.

If your helping to pick the person who sends men to die on the front line then you fight and die by their side.
There are ways to serve without doing so on the front lines. A lot of people who push the idea of military service as a requirement to vote seem to forget that, and think almost nothing of the importance of logistics.

I think you're missing the point.

We're not trying to get the military working with those extra people. We just want those pushing for war to have some 'Skin in the game'. Including women who have demanded all sorts of power without accepting the other side of those aspects of society.

So, yes, I do think that the senior media people, top buracrats, top politicans and feminist academics should be on the front line. It's not going to be my war, after all.

I'm seriously starting to consider going back to old Nobles running nations. They had to fight to be respected. (I'm not considering it very hard, sure. But our elected leaders in gladitorial combat amuses the hell out of me!)

They actually did fight during WW1, at least I know several congressmen from my country took leave from their elected duties to fight at the front, guess we don’t make them like this anymore, now it’s all about avoiding responsibility.

I'd respect somebody like Churchill, he had real understanding.

Who do we have like that today? Most of our elected folk have never even done anything useful in their whole life.

She’s lucky it wasn’t a mosque; it’d be good odds she’d have to be hospitalized. Then again, I do wonder if on occasion we Christians could do with taking a leaf or two out of the Muslim’s metaphorical book…or be willing to channel Jesus when he drove the money lenders and merchants out from the temple.
