Women prisoners in the United Kingdom may face extra prison time if they use male pronouns in reference to Transgender inmates. This is because it violates the Equality Act of 2010.

It is by no means an easy decision and it can destroy a family.
A close friend of the family was cornered in his kitchen by one of his sons and his son's girlfriend. Son tells him he's his daughter now and a lesbian. The other siblings are all on the way, they planned to make it like some kind of family intervention but the tranny son couldn't wait I guess. Any way the dad apparently seemed to take it in stride, no sold it, no sold it. Then asked his son to wait a second. Walked across the house, went to his study and blew his own brains out with the glock he kept in his desk.
I haven't interacted with them in 12 years, so I have no idea what happened to them after the fact. Last I heard the daughter in the family tried to contest her father's will and it was a mess.
I'd probably sit a trans sibling who had kids and was living in my house down and tell them I want them out but he or she is leaving the kids behind or turning them over to the ex or something because they're an existential threat to their own children the moment they went down that path.

Just as an personal update, my mother has passed recently, so now Marcus is just looking after his daughter in the house I provide. This was sooner than expected, so Marcus is going to stay in the house I figure as long as he wants to stay; his daughter is in a good school that the house is in the catchment for and Marcus is returning to school while working. I'll look at starting to get some rent from him next year. He still has to do a legal name change so he was listed as "grandchild" (the home's suggestion after granddaughter) when we were handling the paperwork at the funeral home about a week ago. I think I might offer to pay for the name change as a birthday/Christmas gift if I can swing it.
I'm aware of the optics, but I hope this traumatized the son into being normal again.

now, this is "friend of a friend" reporting, but I have no reason to doubt the source, esp. since they live in Loudoun county.
1. the rape was witnessed by other HS girls, who ran for adult help. (may even be smartphone video.:unknown)
2. Adult help never came.
3. the crime was stopped by several girls getting together to get the rapist to stop and exit the bathroom.
I cannot verify the accuracy, but it fits the MO of Loudoun county schools.
4. the situation is severe enough that multiple counties have refused to send their athletes to Loudoun's sporting events.
5. I DID ask my County schools' Safety Director about it. He was unable to speak to the Loudoun situation, except to state that our county has already cancelled attendance to football & basketball & HSROTC events in Loudoun, because of student safety concerns.

I mean, it's (barely) possible because several officers suddenly surrounded him in mid-sentence and then a few seconds later started beating him, so he could have thrown a punch after the police surrounded him and blocked the camera, but that chain of events strikes me as highly unlikely. I thought maybe you had a different camera angle.

If the law was what mattered, we'd have seen actual sentences for the BLM rioters and Kyle Rittenhouse and Ian Cranston would not have to fear being imprisoned for the rest of their lives.
