China's coal trouble finally hits where it hurts.
It is like I keep telling people China is falling apart and pundents in the West for some reason think it is still gonna be a Chinese Century. China already had it's centuries. They had a solid 1,000 year period where they were the end all be all civilization. And then the CCP took over all that potential got pissed away. All they have now is one big Sham Culture based on Communism.

China has never been "end all be all" of civilization. They invented gunpowder but every other society which got their hands on it figured out how to properly use it safely in terrifying ways.

The Chinese did not and when the Europeans said hello they were screwed.

Hell. If it's circa 1600 Japanese Samurai had access to more matchlock muskets than the Europeans did and there are manuals.

For a shit ton length of time they were innovating things. For instance the Ancient Chinese made a Crossbow 1,000 years more advanced than anything in Europe. And this was well before the Roman Republic was even a thing. Not to mention Earthquake resistant buildings that still stand today. And a trade route that lead back to them. You can hate the CCP and still say the Ancient Chinese were really advanced.

And look what they've accomblished. Oh wait, the allies had to kick out the latest colonizers for them.
Do you mean the Mongols? And enemy they had been facing WAY before they became as strong as they had?
The ancient Chinese have had so many things going fir them most history those of us from Europe have little to know knowledge of what was even in our cultures by then.
Most of Mesopotamia was still around when the Chinese were there.
The Myceaneans were still around.
So don't go saying "Oh, look at them now"
They actually know most of thier history from the post Neolithic era...

He said allies. That would be the Japanese who were colonizing China and much of Asia they could get their hands on.

The Chinese kicked out the Mongols.

When Ötzi the iceman died in the Italian Alps over five thousand years ago he had an axe made of pure copper, a longbow, and was wearing shoes.

Shoes were a new thing back then and probably a Neanderthal invention.

I mean, there has been a city found in Turkey older then everything in Egypt
The city of Jericho clears it's throat and glares at Egypt. Then says "when 15,000 years you reach then you can talk" lol.
Yes, Gobekli Tepe is older than Egypt or Jericho.

Though I doubt Jericho's 15000 years old. It was founded in the Bronze Age after the asteroid hit/low-alt airburst which pulverized Sodom and Gamorrah, or Tall el-Hammam, across the Jordan River Valley from where Jericho is now, and fucked the Dead Sea area up for a bit. They've even found charred and fragmented human remains in the excavations, along with stishovite, which only forms in impact craters/impactor debris fields, or nuke blasts.

However, there are sites in South Africa which were even potentially older than anything else, but got raised by the the aparthied gov because it showed that African's were not the savages that he SA gov liked to paint them as.

Edit: Wrong thread for last part.

Fun think about Gobeli Tepe - it seems made by hunter gatherers, which should not be possible.Yet it still existed.

Slightly off the old city of Jericho is 11,000 years old. Jericho | Facts & History. Me thinks people need to rethink what people were up to a few thousand years before the creation of the Old City. Because brick masonry and stone working on that scale does not pop up out of nowhere without some other sites having existed first. Possible under the Med.

I read about some stone city under the sea near Okinawa, where myths told about sunken kingdom. The same near Nan madol on Pacyfic. In both case scientists argue, that nature made it.
About what @bintananth said about swans - one of people i meet claimed that swann/white/ broke leg of some drunkard which try attack it.How bird could do that,i dunno.
