Helldivers! Managed Democracy Foreign Affairs Simulator!

Valve may do that and would benefit them
yeah, and it will benefit all of us consumers even more, since we won't need accounts from:
Unisoft, EA, PSN and so forth to play this shit.
Our data will be more secure, too.

These games are NOT live services for the most part, and even if they were there shouldn't be any fucking need for us to cough up our personal info and get spammed by those 3rd party buffoons.

And honestly, I hope that at some point Steam replaces most of these bloated publishers.

Yeah: I'm a big fan of Valve, though I wish they got back to developing games than just publishing them/third-party titles, too.

Steam is actually a massive juggernaut in the publishing world, and even if they have rival platforms, publishers like EA and Sony can't ignore them because it's such a lucrative source of income.

Steam and by extension Valve are also pro-consumer because of their origins and roots.

They're basically bitch-slapping Sony here and reminding them that they need Valve, not the other way around.

So, yeah, I am almost done with unlocking all Warbonds, just need some more supercreds.

Initially I was planning to throw 20 - 30 euros to the devs by buying the biggest pack, but fuck it, they ain't getting any more money from me!

And besides, farming that stuff on low difficulty is a fun way to break in noobs like a few friends I managed to get to play the game.

Oh, and it goes without saying, if at any point soyny tries to pull the same or similar shit, there will be a bunch of refunds, everyone I know IRL that got the game, usually largely due to my nagging, is in agreement on that.
